Nonprofit Fundraising

Do you represent a nonprofit organization, or have a favorite charity? Do you wish you could give more to your local church? Network marketing is the 21st century’s answer to creative fundraising. With a high-tech product like VoIP, getting a utility for free AND making money on it is a win-win situation; not only does a company benefit from lower utility bills, but it’s an easy product and business idea to pass along. After only three subscribers, there are no required monthly or yearly fees or purchases; the opportunity becomes a 100% asset. Not to mention how the video phone could enable free video conferencing for any organization. Everyone needs a phone, and if they know their money will go to helping others in a very real way, it makes it even easier. It takes the “people helping people” idea to the next level.

Network marketing teaming up with NPOs offers great advantages to both parties. Just this past July there was a conference held in Washington, DC on direct marketing for nonprofits. This business structure certainly makes sense in the new 21st century business paradigm. Here is one article I found on the idea. Aside from the IP phone service, Liberty International also offers 300 other products, including grocery super-savers coupons that are often used to benefit local community organizations like schools and sports teams.

In order to maintain their tax exempt status, NPOs might have to pay taxes on unrelated business income; however, they could also establish wholly-owned subsidiaries to engage in business on behalf of the NPO. Run it by your legal or accounting advisors, keeping in mind this product, VoIP, is poised to revolutionize telecommunications with millions of new subscribers in the next couple of years. Starting your business now could mean outstanding income in the near future; how great to put it to good use helping people around the world.

For more information, please contact me and we can talk about whether this opportunity is right for you and your company, as well as what I can personally donate towards your cause.

Audio Presentation

If you sent me an email request , I will send you a link to an online audio presentation, given by JR Read, one of Liberty’s founding members. He’s very charismatic and it’s an hour or so well spent. This presentation, taped here in Kona in August, will tell you everything you need to know about this business; it’s also an easy way to pass on the opportunity to your friends and family.

Questioning Skype

A couple of years ago, Skype was acquired by eBay; now, people are beginning to question what eBay plans on doing with the company, which “still hasn’t made enough money to justify the hefty $2.6 billion price tag.” This article continues to quote an Internet analyst saying, “…at some point, free doesn’t work anymore.” On Monday, Skype was devalued by $1.43 billion after its co-founders recently resigned as executives. In August, Skype suffered a two-day outage, promoting many to question its reliability.

As many people know, Skype is a ‘free’ IP-to-IP phone service which until now, only charges customers for calling in or out to traditional or cell phones, called “Skype-In” or “Skype-Out.” But rumors are beginning to circulate that either the company will have to think about charging for all their services or adding advertising to the site to keep it financially viable. At this point evidence suggests their paid services usage is declining, as VoIP customers look for more reliable and price-conscious providers.

This article leads one to doubt whether Vonage will even be one of those; the company lost its shirt on hefty advertising, showing a loss of $338 million in 2006. It’s stock, once valued at $17 a share in 2006, is now less than a dollar a share. The article concludes, “Large companies are converting en masse to VoIP telephone service, but are relying on network specialists such as Cisco, Alcatel, or Nortel that guarantee reliability and quality.”

Skype is usually a question people have when considering investing in the Global Freedom phone; if they already have and use it, why bother? For one thing, unless you’re paying for Skype-Out, you don’t have a regular telephone number that rings in your house – you have to actually be on your computer, as does the other party you’re talking to, to use it, which isn’t necessary with the GFP. Another point is of course the reliability, and whether Skype will really remain ‘free’ forever. Though many VoIP providers offer some kind of free access, there is always a fine print regarding limited minutes, contracts, or required purchases – trust me, these companies are in it for the money. Free long-term, no-contract, unlimited phone service is unique to the GFP, and possible via its well-structured compensation plan. Yes, there is an initial investment, as with any business you start; but it is easily paid back many times over in bonuses and commissions, and after that it becomes purely an asset, with no further out-of-pocket expenses at all.

The question isn’t whether VoIP will be the communication method of the future; that has already been decided. The question is, are you going to be sending a check to your phone company, or receiving checks from them?

VoIP Choices

Found a great site today which provides a lot of great information on the service in general as well as various features and providers.  VoIP Choices has an excellent list of articles including Things to Consider when selecting  VoIP provider, VoIP is Less Taxing than Traditional Phone Service, and VoIP phone advantages.

When I compare the list of fees and costs to the Global Freedom phone, there’s no doubt we’ve found a great one.  (Especially if you’re getting yours for free.) There’s also no doubt this is the future.

The VoIP Revolution and How to Get it For Free

Here is my article I posted at Ezine articles.

For you bloggers out there; beware the plagiarists! Check out this blogger’s clever attempt to reword it and post it as their own.

Wireless and Mobile VoIP

If you’re following VoIP news you’re probably also following news about municipal wireless networks, or muni WiFi. San Francisco, Houston and other cities had been slated to begin setting up their networks with Earthlink, which recently pulled out of the deals; big news in the tech world. However, as this article points out, muni WiFi is far from dead. This technology is progressing so quickly that cheaper, efficient models are already becoming available, including the powerful long-range WiMax. Keep paying attention to these developments. Once WiFi starts really going in and they work out all the kinks, VoIP will experience a SURGE of new users. And if you can help people get it for free, AND show them how to even make some money on it, you’ll be a hero.

Another future development that pertains to VoIP, which will also snowball as muni-WiFi gets going, is mobile Wifi. There’s a lot of talk out there right now about dual-use handsets, that can switch between cellular and wireless networks. Some companies are even coming out with WiFi-only mobile phones, but most tech researchers think the market for those is a bit farther out. However there is no doubt that eventually, this will be the technology of the day all around. And who knows – developments in technology seem so sped up these days one hesitates to predict how quickly these changes will take place.

VoIP News

Stay current on VoIP news.

One article suggests how to choose a VoIP provider. So far Liberty International’s Global FREEdom phone network is right up there; it works with existing phone numbers and existing infrastructure. I know Liberty International is already working on the future of city-wide WIFI and new products that will result (hand held IP phones replace cell phones in the future??). Their video phone comes pre-installed with many features not to mention customer technical support. The GFP network is accessible from anywhere in the world there is high speed internet, and there is email capability as well.

Music on hold, call forwarding and E911 are a few of many features that come pre-installed with the GFP. International rates are extremely competitive. And most important, so far in my personal experience the technical support is unequaled. I had a question about my voicemail so I emailed customer service late last night, and was awakened this morning by a phone call from them – not from India, but a regular guy from Portland, OR! Friendly, helpful and eager to help me learn. Amazing.

And here’s one feature you won’t find in any other VoIP service provider: refer three and yours is free. Not to mention the option to get in on bonuses, commissions and residuals. Now that’s what I call saving money on your phone bill.

VoIP is Here to Stay

There is no doubt that VoIP, or “Voice over Internet Protocol”, is the future of telecommunications.

VoIP technology through Liberty International enables free calls anywhere in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, and anyone around the world who also has it; also very inexpensive rates to other countries (if you think your cell phone has free long distance, sit down and figure out how much your rate is per minute and you might think differently), conferencing, video conferencing, email, voicemail, caller ID, caller block, and many other flexible elements. Businesses are rapidly switching over to IP-based networks because the Internet acts as a “unifying agent” for its network. Your regular phone company is already becoming a dinosaur. And when city-wide WIFI starts setting in, even your cell phone will become an antique.

Many people by now might be familiar with Skype and other such services; but Skype not only charges for calls made to other people’s regular phone lines, but it has been known to crash. (I have used it and have rarely made a call that doesn’t have some kind of issue; dropped audio, disappearing video, or just totally dropped calls.) And many of the biggest VoIP companies are having problems; SunRocket was a popular VoIP service that recently suddenly went out of business, leaving its customers in the lurch. Vonage is another one but people report great difficulty dealing with their customer service, not to mention it has its own business problems with plummeting stocks, patent infringement lawsuits and so forth.

Liberty International isn’t just in the VoIP business; it offers hundreds of other products as well, including a video phone but also health products, clothes, car rentals, and many, many other things. Plus it doesn’t waste its money advertising – that happens through referrals and word-of-mouth, which is frankly the most relevant form of advertising there is, regardless. How many times do you go see a movie or buy a pair of shoes because a friend you trust told you about it? It’s just the nature of the consumer. We listen to our friends.

The Global FREEdom phone is so called because if you refer three people, your service is free. You don’t have to start a home based business to get that. But you can if you want; frankly, why not get the bonuses? You can put as much work into it as you want – or don’t want.

The Global FREEdom phone uses VoIP technology to hook up your regular home telephone. You also have the option of downloading the softphone, which is software that enables you to use your mic and webcam on your computer to make calls – but you get a regular telephone number. AND if you choose, you can keep the same home number you’ve had for years, and even take it with you worldwide anywhere there’s high speed internet access. Their video phone is a fantastic alternative to problematic webcams; it looks like a regular phone but with a crisp, clear video screen – you can even plug it into your big screen TV, to see your friends and family life size.

Do the research. VoIP technology is catching on in a big way, especially internationally. The Internet already exists as a global communications platform. No doubt this technology will continue to spread and improve in the years to come.

Free Phone Service: ask me how

Our VoIP system uses your broadband internet to carry your telephone calls at a fraction of your former telephone service. ($24.95 per month for one line, including all local and long distance service–no additional fees, taxes, etc)–How does that compare with your present phone bill? I can even show you how you can get it free!

Now we have a video phone that everyone has talked about since the Flintstones! You can see the person you are talking to if they also have a videophone–across town or country or around the world!

What a Christmas present!!
